About This Role

The backbone of a high-performing sales team.

Our client is a global e-learning provider building digital solutions for schools and educators. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll form a vital part of their sales engine — using consultative sales techniques to generate and qualify leads across the EMEA territory.

This is a customer-focused inside sales role. You’ll run your own outbound campaigns, qualify prospects with exploratory questioning, and schedule consultations for the senior sales team — while also maintaining your own pipeline from first touch through to commitment. You’ll work closely with your line manager and the wider sales and marketing teams on integrated campaigns throughout the year.

The Work

Own the top of the funnel.

Lead generation is the heart of it. You research prospects, open conversations across phone, email, and social, qualify them against the client’s ideal profile, and move the good ones to a booked consultation — while keeping the CRM clean and your activity trackable.

  • Prospect and generate leads — research targets using tools like Apollo, run signal- and account-based email sequences and calls aligned to campaign priorities, and pass high-intent leads to the sales team.
  • Set consultations — engage decision-makers with consultative techniques, spark interest, and book follow-up appointments. Where possible, use local language to make a strong first impression and get past the gatekeeper.
  • Support calling campaigns — work prescribed lead lists to agreed objectives and weekly/termly KPIs, logging every touch accurately in Salesforce.
  • Handle inbound enquiries — respond promptly and professionally on products, pricing, availability, and delivery, escalating issues to the right team.
  • Own data & CRM quality — keep records accurate through regular clean-ups and compliant data collection.
  • Self-manage and report — work to targets, keep admin current, and track, analyze, and report on your KPIs.
  • Collaborate and feed back — join regular syncs, share insight on lead quality and objections, and sharpen campaign targeting.
Who You Are

A persistent, consultative communicator.

  • Experience
    You’ve sold over the phone before
    A background in sales development, telesales, or inside sales, with a consultative approach to discovery, qualifying, and persuading prospects to book.
  • Languages
    C2 English, plus a second language
    Fluent C2-level English, plus Spanish or Italian at C1/B2 or above. (We’re confirming the second-language requirement for this region with the client.)
  • Voice
    Clear, confident, and persuasive
    Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong negotiation and active-listening skills.
  • Sector
    You understand the education market
    Knowledge of the international education market and the issues teachers and schools face is a strong plus.
  • Tools
    Comfortable in a CRM and quick on new tools
    Computer literacy for research and accurate data entry, and the ability to ramp on new tools without hand-holding.

Compensation

What you’ll earn.

We publish pay up front. This is a full-time, remote role with a fixed monthly salary set by location, plus commission on sales. Salary is paid in local currency.

Commission is paid at 5% of sales, per the client’s KPI structure. Probation is 3 months, and the projected start date is immediate.
