Founded by Weh’yee Barkon
In 2019, Weh'yee left the U.S. in search of something different: a life of independence, opportunity, and hands-on entrepreneurship. Since then, he has lived full-time across Africa, building businesses in agriculture, short-term rentals, and logistics while also leading high-level recruitment across the continent.
As a first-generation African American, Africa Rising is the company he wished existed when first leaving to build in Africa. World-class service, built on the continent, competing globally.
