A viral party brand with a drink-safety mission.

Shot Watch is a fast-moving direct-to-consumer brand built around one breakout product: a collapsible, wrist-strap silicone shot cup that keeps you hands-free at festivals, tailgates, and parties. It retails at $8.99, carries a 4.9/5 rating from 500+ customers, and sells through Shopify and TikTok Shop, driven heavily by organic social virality.

Underneath the party energy is a real mission. The brand was born after the founder’s sister had her drink spiked — so responsible drinking and drink safety sit at the center of the story. The product is going viral again, the content formula is cracked, and the founder has rebuilt the store himself. Now he needs someone to own the operation.

The founder has done the founder-does-everything phase and knows it does not scale. This role takes the operational center off his plate entirely.

The Mission

Run the store. End to end.

This role sits at the operational center of Shot Watch. You own the store, the channels, the customer experience, and the day-to-day ops — so the founder can focus only on the highest-leverage work. You run it; he gets the critical calls.

Start at 15–20 hours with a clear path to full-time (40–50 at full tilt) as you take more off his plate.

What You'll Own

The whole store. Yours.

You are the operational owner. The founder sets the vision and handles the highest-leverage work; everything that keeps the store running and growing is yours.

  • Store operations — own Shopify and TikTok Shop end to end. Product setup, merchandising, pricing updates, promotions, and the day-to-day health of both storefronts.
  • Fulfillment oversight — keep orders flowing and issues resolved before they reach the founder. You are accountable for the operational backbone.
  • Customer & community — own (or oversee) customer support, DMs, and comments across channels. The customer experience is yours to protect as volume scales.
  • Optimization — watch what is converting, what is not, and where the friction is. Bring ideas, test them, and improve the numbers — not just maintain them.

You escalate only the critical calls. Everything else, you decide and execute.

Who You Are

  • Posture
    Owner, not assistant
    You run things. Given a store and a goal, you do not wait for a task list — you build the plan, work it, and report results. The founder should feel the load lift the week you start.
  • Range
    Full-stack on ecommerce
    Hands-on across Shopify and TikTok Shop, comfortable from product setup and merchandising through fulfillment and customer ops. You have run a DTC store, not just touched one corner of it.
  • Customers
    You protect the experience
    Strong written English and a sharp, on-brand customer voice. You can own high-volume support and community yourself, or direct it, without the quality slipping as volume climbs.
  • Judgment
    You know what to escalate
    You can tell the difference between a decision the founder needs to make and one you should just make. You earn trust by getting the small calls right so he can let go of them.
  • Nice to Have
    AI-fluent operator
    Familiarity with AI customer-support or DM tooling and a habit of using AI to move faster across ops. A plus, not a requirement.
Compensation

What you'll earn.

Specialist-tier compensation paid in USD. Base pay scales with your weekly engagement. Every engagement includes a $100 monthly add-on covering tier incentive and standing transfer-fee adjustment — applied on top of base. The role starts at 15–20 hours and scales toward full-time (40–50 at full tilt) as you take ownership.
