Social Media & Content Specialist
For a creative social media pro who can take a mission-driven nonprofit’s sporadic presence and make it consistent and worth following — owning the channels and creating the assets that carry the story.
A nonprofit opening doors through arts and education.
The client is a US arts and education nonprofit, led from Paris, that empowers women, young people, and people of African descent through the arts, literacy, study abroad, and STEAM education. Its work spans continents and builds a network of global citizens.
It runs lean: no full-time staff, a founder who carries most of the operation, a volunteer board, and a growing body of work to share. Right now that story is not being told consistently — the social channels are sporadic because no one is dedicated to them. That is the gap this role fills.
This is a confidential search. We will tell you exactly who you would be working with, and share the full mission, once we connect at the intro call.
Turn sporadic into consistent.
You own the social presence end to end. The channels — LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube — are live but inconsistent. Your job is to make them steady, polished, and worth following: a regular drumbeat of content that carries the mission, supports the founder’s thought leadership, and helps an active fundraising effort land.
You bring both halves — the management and the craft. You plan and run the calendar, and you design the assets that make each post worth the scroll.
The whole feed.
A light but real scope. You are the one person making sure the channels stay alive and on-message.
- Own the channels — plan and run a consistent content calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. No more gaps.
- Create the assets — design the graphics, posts, and short-form content that carry the foundation’s programs and story.
- Serve the mission — shape content around thought leadership and the active fundraising campaign, so social actually supports the work.
- Stay close to the work — join the team’s twice-monthly committee touchpoint to stay current on programs and events worth amplifying.
- Hold the brand — keep a consistent voice and visual identity across every channel and post.
Portfolio required. We will ask to see channels you have run or assets you have designed before we present you.
